Dear Subscriber,
I am afraid that I have continued to keep very busy over the last month assisting employers with redundancies. As this is still such a topical issue I have decided to dedicate this month's newsletter to sharing some of the questions I have been asked by employers recently about this subject along with the answers given.
Please remember that my redundancy guide is available to provide a brief overview of what you need to do if considering redundancy. You may also wish to refer back to my November newsletter, which sets out some alternatives to redundancy.
Please contact me if you would like to find out a bit more about these issues. If you need any help or advice why not take advantage of my free initial consultation.
Please forward this email to any of your contacts who might find it of benefit.
Regards
Peter Etherington

As it is always a good thing to learn from experience, I thought that some of you would appreciate reading some real-life questions and answers that have arisen recently regarding redundancy. Redundancy can be quite a complex issue and many employers have not had to make redundancies in recent years, so are quite nervous about making mistakes. I hope that by providing this information you will feel more confident but I would still advise you to contact me for an initial (and free) opinion before embarking on the process.

As I am only dealing with a single topic in this issue, I thought I would take the opportunity to invite your feedback about my monthly newsletters. If there is any aspect of HR or employment law that you would like to see covered here please contact me to let me know. I will do my best to provide the information you are seeking in future issues. |
